How to get to the hotel

Hotel Portoconte, which is situated on the seafront, is located in the wonderful bay of Porto Conte, township Maristella, just 12 km from the city of Alghero, in the province of Sassari, on the Italian island of Sardinia.

From Porto Torres

On leaving the port of Porto Torres, head for Alghero-Stintino and then follow the signs for Alghero. On reaching Alghero, take a right at the roundabout and head for Fertilia, continuing until you reach the traffic light where there is a sign indicating that you should turn left for Fertilia. Carry on towards Fertilia until you come to the subsequent junction, where you will see the signs for Porto Conte – Capo Caccia.
Follow these directions for around 4 km until you come to a fork in the road, where you have the choice of turning left for Porto Conte or right for Capo Caccia.
Take the road on the left, and after around 500 metres you will come to Hotel Portoconte on your right.

From Alghero-Fertilia airport

On leaving the airport, take a right and head for Alghero. After around 2 km, you will come to a stop sign – take a right and head for Fertilia and then, at the next stop sign, turn left and continue on towards Fertilia. When you reach the junction, follow the signs for Porto Conte – Capo Caccia. Continue for around 4 km until you come to a fork in the road, where you have the choice of turning left for Porto Conte or right for Capo Caccia. Take the road on the left, and after around 500 metres you will come to Hotel Portoconte on your right.

International connections

By air: Fertilia International Airport (Alghero) is located 15 minutes’ drive from the hotel and offers flights to all the main Italian airports.

By sea: Genoa/Porto Torres (daily departures), Barcelona/Porto Torres and Civitavecchia/Porto Torres. The transfer from the port takes 30 minutes. Civitavecchia/Olbia – in this instance, the transfer takes 2 hours.
