An oasis of wellness and relaxation in Sardinia

The Hotel

The arches and the porticos, guest rooms and gardens all embellished by Simon Mossa's Mediterranean touch

Designed to look out to sea, the hotel is protected by the gentle shade of the trees and enveloped by the intense fragrance of the Mediterranean maquis.

Horseshoe-shaped, the main part of the two-storey hotel plays host to the communal areas, including the reception desk, the spacious lounge area, the kitchen, the restaurant, the bar and the wide terrace that stretches out towards the swimming pool and the beach.

The hotel is bordered by arches and porticos where – shaded from the sun – you can sit and read or simply savour the panorama as you breathe in the soft sea air. The walls are whitewashed to keep them looking fresh and to integrate them into the delicate harmony of the surrounding environment. The highly original architecture of the hotel is very much in keeping with the local style and is enhanced by clear references, in terms of the lines and colours used, to the construction techniques of the Catalan and wider Mediterranean traditions.

The hotel’s styling is an encapsulation of the creative ingenuity of Antonio Simon Mossa, the eclectic Sardinian architect who was responsible for the design of the ‘”Escala del Cabirol” – the staircase that provides access to Neptune’s Caves – and the renovation of the Cathedral and numerous other churches.

The design is intended to embellish the colours, spaces and shapes of the entire complex with a view to creating a sense of harmony with the wild natural landscapes and seascapes that provide the stunning backdrop.
